Custom software is either fixed scope or a monthly retainer. Exact figures depend on how many people the firm has and what it runs, and are given in writing before any work starts.
Do we have to start with managed IT?
No, but most firms do. Running a firm's day to day IT is how AetherCode Studios learns where the manual work actually is, which makes the automation and custom software that follows far more accurate. Firms that already have an internal IT team can start at the automation or custom software stage instead.
